What is the SARA programme?

In an effort to help low-income families and individuals, the Malaysian government has implemented the SARA (Sumbangan Asas Rahmah) programme which provides financial aid to eligible Malaysians. This programme is an initiative under MyKasih Foundation, a non-profit with a mission to help those in need.

From April 2025 onwards, monthly financial aid of up to RM200 will be credited to the MyKad of each eligible recipient.
